Our mission at Peak Nutrients is to promote health and vitality in an environmentally and socially responsible way. Our nutritional supplements are formulated with pharmaceutical grade ingredients of the highest quality, and in their most bioavailable forms, to enhance peak performance and optimal health. Our manufacuring facility uses raw materials that are tested and free of bacteria, mold, yeast, aflatoxins, gamma radiation, heavy metals, chemical solvents, pesticides, and herbicides. We have adopted business practices and policies that allow us to lessen our impact on the local and global environment. We strive to conserve natural resources, limit our waste generation, participate in recycling, and purchase recycled products. Peak Nutrients is a company who values the planet and your health, and we understand that you have many choices as a consumer. With this in mind, we strive to offer only the best and most beneficial products, and also make it our practice to offer exceptional customer service.
Our Founders
Dr. Jim and Karen Massey met in 1980 at Food Front Cooperative Grocery, in Portland, OR, where they both were volunteers. That same year Dr. Jim began his formal medical education at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. In his years of studying and teaching nutrition, maintaining a private family practice, raising a family, and formulating supplements for other nutritional supplement companies, Dr. Jim personally witnessed the incredible benefits that clinical nutrition can provide. Using that experience and knowledge, Dr. Jim and Karen wanted to share their philosophy of environmental consciousness and their vision of personal health and wellness with others. In the late 1990s they introduced a line of condition specific supplements and made them available through health care providers. After many years, and several formulas later, the Massey’s were ready to make their high quality supplements available to the public, without having to first see a doctor. The result was the introduction of Peak Nutrients.
